              WEEK SIX ( 20/12/2016-23/12/2016)

After a short break, again back to school. Felt really irritated and stressed as we did'nt get a break after our exam. But still came to school. Studente were on the middle of their Christmas exams. As we reached the school Alice teacher assigned exam duties to us. That was my first experience so I made an enquiry about the timings and get to the class. Alice teacher asked me to be very allert in the class so i was very much allert in the class. I felt really bored as i have to stay there for almost 2 hours without talking to anyone. But somehow managed.

Exam got over by 22 nd of december and we had a small function there on the same day. The main guest was the  revenue minister. Our school was honoured for having the best library and the minister handed over 10k worth books as prize. The library room was actually messed up before the function. But the school officials asked us to arrange the library for a competition. So we arranged the library neately and our school won the prize. Actually the school was about to close on 22nd of December but as part of government order to conduct Christmas day celebration we had class on 23 as well. We had a small celebration there on the school and teachers sang Christmas songs and decorated Christmas tree. Santa distributed chocolates to every one and by 1 o clock the programme got over and we left the school. My plan was to take complete rest on these vacation but our english teacher Rajeswari gave me 120 papers to evaluate. Thus the sixth week of my intership programme also came to an end.

            WEEK FIVE : (5/12/2016 - 9/12/2016)

This week begins with an unpleasant news of the demise  of tamil nadu CM jayalalitha. So government proclaimed leave for one day. Thus we got only four working days. this week we got our timetable for our third semester examination and our college gave us permission to take a break in our internship programme from 9th of December till 19th of December. So we met headmistress and submitted a written letter requesting a break in our internship programme. I conducted an examination last week and i corrected and gave the papers to my students this week. I was really happy to see the marks of my students. They scored excellent marks except two or three students. In my first intership programme only two or three students passed in the examination, majority scored very less marks. Girls learn far better than boys. I tried my level best to teach them in b.n.v. but here i am enjoying this profession.  In the midst of the happiness what made me depressed was to know their knowledge in using grammar. Only few students know to write a sentence without grammar mistakes. So what i decided was to teach them basic grammar. As a teacher  trainee this was not my duty but as a teacher i should teach them whatever i can to draw out the best in a student. So i decided to teach them basic grammar. I told them frankly about their grammar mistakes and told them that they should study how to write a sentence without grammar mistakes. They were really interested to learn and i taught them with utmost interest. Then i made them write 'my self' in simple english and they wrote it without any mistakes. They dont even know the relevance of using apostrophe 'S'. So i taught them that also. I felt really happy that they got some knowledge for future from me.

I told them that i am taking a break as i have to write my examination. My students were really sad to hear this and they wanted me to stay there. On 9th of December we had a small celebration at our class and we selected Christmas friend. We exchanged greeting cards and i was surprised that i got many greeting cards and Christmas gift from my students. They collected Christmas wish from me in a paper. I asked them to write their examination good and wished best of luck to my students. They asked me to come back soon and bid me bye. Then i left the school to get prepared for my examination.
